Gulfstream G200/G280

The Gulfstream G200, later developed as the G280, is a luxury super-midsize jet that was built from 1999 to 2011. In production since 2012, the G280 offers a combination of impressive speed and range that makes it ideal for business travel and private flights on medium and long-haul routes, with a capacity for 9 to 12 passengers, a cruising speed of 1,049 km/h (652 mph) and a range of 5,790 km (3,126 NM), the jet enables comfortable non-stop flights between cities such as Geneva and Dubai or London and New York. Depending on the number of passengers and luggage, the G200 can achieve flight times of up to 7 hours without refueling, while the newer G280 can reach almost 8 hours. This makes flights such as London to New York or Dubai to Singapore possible without any problems.

Gulfstream G200/G280 - The super-mid-size jet for medium and long-haul routes

The cabin height of 1.91 m (6.2 ft) offers passengers generous space and freedom of movement, making the journey even more comfortable. Flight attendants and hot catering are standard on both models and contribute to a first-class flying experience. The Gulfstream G200/G280 is therefore frequently used for intercontinental business trips and exclusive private flights, as it offers a perfect balance between speed, range and cabin comfort.

What are the costs per hour to charter the Gulfstream G200/G280?

The cost of chartering a Gulfstream G200 is between 13,259 and 14,584 euros per flight hour. The successor model, the G280, is somewhat more expensive, with prices ranging from 15,400 to 16,940 euros per flight hour. The longer the total flight time of the booking, the more cost-effective the flight hour becomes. For longer flights lasting over 6 hours, it is also possible that these price ranges are undercut.

With a cabin height of 1.91 m, the G200 and G280 are unbeatable in the midsize category. They are even higher than most ultra-long-range jets and are therefore often recommended by us for very tall passengers

What are the taxiway requirements for take-off and landing of the Gulfstream G200/G280?

Take-off: The Gulfstream G200 requires a taxiway length of approximately 1,850 meters for a take-off on a standard runway condition (at maximum load). The successor model, the Gulfstream G280, has a slightly lower requirement and needs about 1,800 meters for take-off. These values can vary depending on weight, weather conditions and altitude.

Landing: The Gulfstream G200 requires a runway length of around 1,500 meters for landing. The Gulfstream G280 requires about 1,450 meters for landing. Here, too, the required lengths may vary depending on weight and conditions.
