The Hawker 800 series and its further developments are among the most popular business jets in the world. They offer an outstanding combination of performance, comfort and range. To better understand the differences between the 800, 800XP, 800XPR and 850XP models, let's take a look at their specifications and build times.
Built: 1983 - 1995
The Hawker 800 is the original model in the series and offers space for up to eight passengers. It is known for its comfortable cabin and good range.
Built: 1995 - 2006
The 800XP (Extended Performance) is a further development of the 800 and offers improved engines and extended range.
Launch: 2011 (no specific build time as it is an upgrade program)**
The 800XPR is not a completely new variant, but an upgrade program for existing 800XP models. It offers modernized engines and avionics
Production time: 2006 - 2009
The 850XP is a further development of the 800XP with additional improvements in range and efficiency.
The price range for chartering a Hawker 800 / XP / XPR and Hawker 850XP varies depending on the provider, region, season and additional services. The approximate cost is between 8,200 and 10,200 euros per flight hour.
The cost of chartering a business jet can be influenced by various factors:
Provider: Different charter companies have different pricing structures.
Region: Prices can vary depending on the departure location and destination.
Season: Prices may be higher during peak periods such as vacations or public holidays.
Additional services: Special requests such as catering, additional safety precautions or special ground services can increase the price.
If you are looking for a high cabin and comfortable large seats as well as very good value for money, the Hawker 800 is always a top choice
Choosing the right aircraft for your trip depends not only on comfort and range, but also on runway requirements. But how long does the runway need to be in order to take off and land safely?
For a safe take-off, the entire Hawker 800 series, including the 800, 800XP, 800XPR and 850XP models, requires a runway length of approximately 1,524 meters (5,000 feet).
For a safe landing, a taxiway length of approximately 2,600 feet (792 meters) is required.
It is important to note whether the jet is operated commercially or privately, as the requirements for commercial flights are much stricter. A detailed calculation of the runway length requirements should therefore always be carried out before each flight to ensure that all safety aspects are taken into account.
